The
Third Annual "Represent Brooklyn"
exhibition, has been rescheduled for
November 13th
to December 11th
2010.
The exhibition features selected
painting, photography, sculpture and
mixed media art by artists who work and
live in and whose artwork is inspired by
Brooklyn.
“Represent Brooklyn”
is an exhibition designed to bring
together artists, art collectors, art
organizations, and community members that
live and work in Brooklyn.
The paintings, sculptures,
photographs, prints, and mixed media
artwork included in the show provides a
glimpse of the diverse range of creative
style and visual presentation found in
Brooklyn.
The artists will be
selected by a jury composed of renowned
members of different
Brooklyn
art associations and the TRA Gallery,
including Danny Simmons, gallery owner
and Chairman of the New York State
Council of Arts; Maribeth Flynn, art
historian, art educator, and independent
museum education consultant; SONYA Board
members, in addition to several others.
